Our Story

First Date

They had their very first date at Spruzzo's, a restaurant any Malibu local knows and loves. It is still their favorite restaurant to this day.

Made It Official

Just five days after our first date, Jonathan asked Courtney to be his girlfriend... and she said yes without a second thought!

First Big Trip

To celebrate their first anniversary, Courtney and Jonathan planned a getaway to Joshua Tree. This trip was when they realized if they had to choose one person to be stranded in the desert with, they would always choose each other.

The Next Chapter

After building their foundation in Malibu, Jonathan and Courtney both started the next stage of life just a few blocks away from each other in Los Angeles.

Their days consisted of driving to their DTLA offices together, spending weekends on the boardwalk with Poppy, and eating late night noodles in Sawtelle.

The Proposal

Courtney's move to Denver just two weeks before Jonathan planned to propose was a minor setback, yet was not going to deter him.

After months of the most detailed planning of his life, Jonathan walked Courtney through their favorite moments, all building up to a fairytale proposal on Westward Beachwith their family and friends.

We Get Married!
